Baron Henri-Marie Petiet published between 1943 and 1946 a collection of some 750 postcards dedicated to trains and their locomotives. Some cards in this series include a list of specs printed on the reverse. The images were sourced from photographs of their day, taken mostly by Lucien-Maurice Vilain, or from the archives of the networks and locomotive manufacturers.From a large, well cared for collection that was binder stored. On very light card stock. Unposted and showing barely any wear or handling consistent with its age. No fold creases or corner wear or other issues to note. Overall, clean throughout and in very good condition. Will display well in your collection. You will receive the exact card shown in the photos.
