Description: Fred Koch Brewery - Golden Anniversary Beer Label - 12 oz - Dunkirk, NY This is an early label for Koch's Golden Anniversary Beer. It measures 3-1/4" x 4". In the 1980's Koch's was absorbed by a larger (Genesee) brewery ending a brewing tradition that Dunkirk, NY enjoyed for over 100 years! Koch's was one of the thousands of small community brewers that dotted the landscape and then disappeared in the face of competition from the major breweries. Today these little companies would be called micro-breweries and they would be experiencing a resurgence. Since the brewery closed memorabilia has continued to become harder to find.
