Description: Offered here is a Franklin Mint 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette LE #0562 of 9900. This is the 10th of my New Old Stock models to be listed for sale. It has been undisturbed in climate controlled storage since it was delivered to me from the Franklin Mint. It was opened for inspection when received and then opened again today for careful inspection and to take the listing photos posted here. Note: Many times upon initial inspection, I changed out the internal tissue paper packaging with a thin microfoam material which protects better and will not cause damage to the models painted parts while in extended storage. I have been collecting precision diecast models for more than 30 years! I currently have more than 600 models ON DISPLAY and about half that number that have been in storage (being either duplicates or simply just never having made it into a display case).I have collected various scales (1:24; 1:20; 1:18; 1:10 and even the massive 1:6 scale Highway 61 1957 Corvette model) . . . from multiple high end manufacturers . . . displayed in custom made dust proof clever tri-view wall mounted display cases (see last photo in this listing which is just a representative sample showing one short wall with a 1:24 scale display case).
