Description: This is a very attractive, uncommon post card(outside of some very minor wear and tear around the corners, and a small tear in its right side, in great condition!) sent from the French Post Office on Rhodes(though a bit light in some areas, two, pretty nice, black cancels!), Ottoman Empire(Turkey), to Fontainebleau, France, on April 5, 1904! It went through the French P.O. in Smyrne, Ottoman Empire(Turkey) before being sent on to France. The receiving cancel from the Fontenbleau P.O. is only fair, as it's obscured by the transit CDS from the French P.O. in Smyrne. The red, 10-Centimes, French Levant issue is in excellent condition! Mail sent through the French Post Office on Rhodes, Turkey, is rarely seen!
