Ford 1949-53 Ford oil pump gasket set. set includes 1 -bottom cover gasket, 1-pick up screen gasket w/bolts and 1-pressure relief valve gasket. This set is correct for both hi-volume and the standard volume Ford pumps as well as the Melling M-19 & M-15 pumps. The hi-Volume pumps have a dowel that will need cut out w/ a hole punch. I prefer to rebuild the factory Ford pumps and reuse the factory valve and helical gears (if not pitted) rather than buy a new Melling pump. When installing a dry pump, I remove the bottom cover and pack the gear cavity with petroleum jelly to insure the pump will pick up its prime on start up. "If your gonna rebuild it, rebuild it right!" I always combine shipping and will utilize flat rate box's when it makes sense.
