It imitates a common crab, the staple diet of Bonefish, permit, and other in-shore species. The Belly Flop Crab is trimmed triangular and tied with the mouth and claws out back so it falls naturally and moves straight as stripped in the usual defensive posture. An important feature when it comes to fishing permit and redfish. The semi-transparant legs and tuft of marabou bring this crab pattern to life with their micro movement.
