Description: The item for sale is a group of three flambe glazed pottery items. The flambe glaze turns different colors based on the oxygen conditions used during the firing process. The oil lamp has a common red glaze first used on Chinese pottery centuries ago. The color ranges from celadon green to to red with some hints of blue. The 5 1/2" tall lamp is filled with oil and the removable wick is lit. The lamp is signed on the bottom. Also included is a pair of bowls that have an orange to yellow glaze which is quite unusual. The bowls are formed from a red clay that was thrown on a potter's wheel. The bottoms are ground smooth. The walls are thin. They are not signed but they are well made an attractive. They have a diameter of 4 1/4". The condition of the items is lightly used. There are no chips, cracks nor other types of damage. The lamp may have been lit in the past, but the burnt wick was trimmed.
