Description: This Santa with suspenders cookie jar was made in the late 1980s and is marked in two places. First is a paper label on the bottom of the jar that reads 'Omnibus Delicate Hand-painted Surface' with details on washing the jar. A second paper label on the bottom reads 'OCI Taiwan'. The jar is also impressed 'Omnibus', but the glaze is so thick it is hard to read. (OCI Omnibus was a division of Fitz and Floyd.) The jar is in new condition and does not have any chips, cracks, or crazing. It is a nicely painted, colorful jar that is different from the usual Santa jars. Approximately 11" high, the jar has been stored in the original box all of these years. It was never displayed or used, making this a rare find. From a non-smoking and pet-free home.
