Description: This is a wonderful replica of an old New York City Fire Department alarm box key! This bottle opener It is a solid barrel type key and measures 4" long. It is the key that NYC firefighters use even to this day, to reset the alarm box after it is pulled. It is a maltese cross stamped "F.D.N.Y" on one side and "Gettin Salty Co" on the other side (Just like the original key you see below). This key patina is in old brass and looks like its been hanging on the rig for years.It is not operable in any of the current NYC pull boxes and is being sold as a a beer opener :).
