This stocking is made from a new 2019 Plaid Bucilla kit "Nordic Christmas " (with LOTS of added bling ), that my sister completed this year. The stocking measures 18 " from the tip of the toe to the top; is 8 " wide at the top opening; the hanger is covered with sequins and glass beads and is 2 "; the back is matching dark red felt; and it is fully lined. When shipped, (First Class Postage with Tracking), the picture that came with the kit is included so you can see the extra embellishments I've done. This stocking comes in it's own jumbo zip bag, perfect for storage and protection. My sister was a professional artist and crafter and takes pride in her work. She has embellished the stocking with boatloads of additional sequins and glass beads -- all hand sewn -- NOT A DROP OF GLUE! -- not a single machine stitch. She used the instructions as a guide, but like to add her own flair, using double threads for all the appliques and for sewing on the glass beads and sequins. You will find a lot of metallic thread used in the stocking. The lining is made from top-of-the-line 100% Cotton Quilting fabric and is hand stitched to the front and the back separately, then both parts are sewn together all by hand (using the blanket stitch with double threads, too).
