Description: An antique late Victorian or Edwardian period brass door knocker with a maximum length of approximately 8.35 in (212 mm) and width of 2.9 in (74 mm).The knocker is in a neo-Classical style with good detail featuring a semi-clad female figure or caryatid standing on a plinth of acanthus leaves while supporting the top section of the knocker.including an urn type vessel.It is in very good condition with no damage and with good colour and patina commensurate with age and use.A lovely elegant door accessory which would make a great addition to anyones collection, display or for use etc........
