Description: Figured Bastogne Walnut Slab. Wood has been air drying for about 1 year and may need some more time to dry completely. Moisture meter reads about 12% MC but it's probably higher in the very center (my guess is about 15-18% in center). Pictures 1-11 show wood sprayed with water to show figure and simulate the look of the wood once a finish is applied. The last 5 pictures show the wood dry. NOTE: As you can see in the pictures there are some cracks & checking. I tried to take close ups of these cracks to help see these areas.
