Description: This listing is for 15 Fidalga Roxa pepper seeds. These seeds were collected fromPurple Fidalga Roxapeppers that were grown to full maturity in my garden during the summer of 2022. The seeds were then dried, packaged, and ready to send to you. These are a very rare variety of Brazilian pepper. The plants have dark purple stems, interiors of their flowers, and pepper pods. The peppers turn from purple to pink when they are fully mature and ready to be harvested. The flavor is fantastic and one of my favorites from my garden this year. Fidalga Roxapeppers thrive in warm to hot weather (65-85 degrees F) during the daytime hours but can be grown indoors with adequate light. Like all peppers, purpleFidalga Roxapeppers do well in an area with good morning sun and in soil with a pH level around 5 to 6 (slightly acidic). The heat level ofPurpleFidalga Roxapeppers is considered medium with the Scoville Units ranging from 5,000-100,000 SHU. This makes them easier to use when cooking than super-hot varieties of peppers. When growing hot peppers, it is recommended that you use a heating mat to increase germination rates. Also, wear gloves whenever handling the seeds or fruit can prevent irritation to your skin.
