The "Made in Japan Traditional 60s Telecaster" usually has a basswood body, but this model has an alder body. This Telecaster is a Telecaster Custom model with binding on the body. The fretboard is usually made of rosewood, but this model has a maple fretboard, which is a chic combination reminiscent of the late 60's. The 9.5" fretboard is made of maple, and the 9.5" fretboard is made of rosewood. The 9.5" radius of the fingerboard has been retained, and the frets have been changed to a "medium jumbo" size, which is one size larger than the regular fretboard. The pickups are the "51 Nocaster" which is known for its straight, clean, and warm sound. Burgundy Mist Metallic is used for the body color, which is a unique feature of this product. The head has a Custom Telecaster decal sticker, and the design is full of attention to detail.
