Description: **ALL ORIGINAL** Hi folks, for sale another great CBS Fender champ late 1965 - blackface in EXCELLENT condition. All parts like the power transformer, filter caps and "Jensen" speaker are all absolutely in original condition including the untouched soldering. This amp was only used in the studio hence the excellent condition it’s in. Pots read 304-6612 which means a late 1965 beginning 1966 although transformer reports to 1966, all components were assembled and hand wired at the Fender plant no machinery was ever used to assemble it. It’s voltage is 110v and needs a power converter to 220v/230v if sold to Europe or UK (I have one power converter for sale if needed). All tubes are original pre cbs “RCA Electron tube” still in an amazing working condition/fully functional. At just 5 watts, the original Champ® combo was famous for it’s classic tube sparkle and killer grind at a reasonable level, its perfect for studio but if you plug it in live on a stage with a mic in front it will blow the whole room with its amazing sound.
