Description: This is an original program from the Broadway play "A Bell for Adano". It was performed in the Cort Theatre. The cast starred Frederic March. It opened on December 6, 1944 and and ran until October 27, 1945, for a total of 296 performances. This playbill dates from the week of February 4, 1945. The paper has a brownish hue. I wonder if it is because of wartime shortages. As with all these vintage publications, there are interesting ads featuring restaurants and products that are no longer in existence. There is also a distinctly military "vibe" to many of the advertisements. Please reference all pictures for a complete description of the condition of the item. Happy to answer any questions.
