Additional Info: Splits: None Damage: none Shinoda and others are in a group of cars called Thingies Cutting edge slot car technology did not take long to filter down to the local raceway. In fact Northern California racers such as John Chotia, Bob Lenz and Ron Mura were looking for ever lower lap times were incorporating aerodynamic designs for their bodies with little resemblance to actual race cars. A leading proponent of what became known as thingies in late 1960s. Many of the bodies have their Brand Name on them and many don’t. We do know that these Repo Bodies are made from many slot car manufacturers molds. My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era. The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used. I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.
