Shipping companies will do all their own packaging or wrapping prior to delivery. We Do NOT package or crate items for the delivery companies. This is for your protection and ours. All packing and crating must be done by an insured shipping company. All purchases are welcome to be picked up by the buyer or buyer's shipping company. When requested, Stenella Antiques can assist to obtain shipping quotes for buyers or provide a list of carriers that other Stenella Antiques customers have hired. Freight shipping costs are paid directly to the shipper by the buyer. Some shippers require payment in advance and some at time of delivery. Once the buyer has identified the shipper of their choice, they must notify Stenella's to authorize release of the item. The buyer or shipper must give 24-48 hour notice prior to pickup to allow our staff time to prepare items for pickup and ensure access to docks for loading. When possible, we prefer 5 day notice of pickups, particularly larger or more complex orders. This applies to customer pickups and for all customer hired shippers. Once the buyer has authorized a shipper to pick up on their behalf, Stenella's will coordinate pickup directly with the shipper. We need authorization to release items to hired shippers. Shipping companies have different rules for delivery, please verify with hired shipper in advance. Typically, the shipping company will contact you prior to delivery. Estimated delivery times are normally quoted in the 6 to 8 week range, sometimes sooner, sometimes longer depending on scheduling and location. (Items shipped via UPS will be much sooner, Stenella's typically ships these items out within 5 days of payment) Since the shipping companies DO NOT work for us, these times are not guaranteed and only estimated based on our past experiences with selling online for 20+ years. Buyers are more than welcome to pick up or to use any shipper of their choice. Stenella Antiques and Interiors is NOT affiliated with any shipping company and makes NO recommendations. Shipping choice is completely up to the buyer. If the buyer has a licensed and insured carrier they wish to use, they are more than welcome. We will need authorization to release any item prior to any shipper pickup. The buyer's hired shipper is acting as pickup agent for the buyer. The buyer agrees that when the hired shipper picks up their purchased item from Stenella Antiques location, that the item is acceptable and in described condition. We suggest that the buyer has their shipper/agent inspect their purchase at time of pickup to ensure it is exactly what they are expecting. Once an item has been picked up by the buyer or the buyer's agent, the buyer accepts responsibility for the item. The buyer agrees that in the rare event of an item being damaged or lost in shipping, that the buyer will work with their designated shipper to resolve it. Buyers agree that any item being returned, for any reason, will be so at the buyers expense. Since our items are located at 2 different facilities, it is recommended to make an appointment prior to pickup to be sure you will be coming to correct location. All of our items are available for preview prior to bidding or purchasing online at one of our 2 showrooms. Our newest location, Stenella Interiors is a 24,000 sq ft, beautifully arranged showroom located in Lansdale Pennsylvania. Any of our listings beginning with the letter "L" (ex. L45647:) will be on display at this Lansdale location. All other items are on display at our previous Perkasie Pennsylvania warehouse. Our 50,000 sq feet combined showrooms, display all of our online offerings allowing customers to view, inspect and compare prior to making their online purchase. There are special exceptions, but prior approval must be granted by Stenella Antiques and Interiors via email or writing stating revised agreement. Items being delivered can be returned for full refund if item is refused at time of delivery.
