Description: I am listing many Unique Items that would make great Gifts for the Vintage Electronics Collector!PRIVATE STOCK FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION!!!Exceptional Stereo Pair 1958 EICO HF-20 20-Watt Integrated Tube Amplifiers -Serviced SHIPPED TO 48 State USA UPS addresses ONLY!! No exceptions! Sorry! Here for your consideration is a Classic, and Exceptional Stereo Pair of 1958 EICO HF-20 20-Watt Integrated Tube Amplifiers in repaired, working condition. Each EICO HF-20 sold for $79.95 assembled or $49.95 as a kit in 1958.This Wonderful Stereo Pair is the closest to “Museum Quality” as you will ever find. The chassis on each looks PERFECT!The only sign of age is the two front brass panels, and they are very nice- see pictures. Each 15“x 9“x 9“, seven tube 110vac amplifier uses a pair of 12AX7s, a Pair of 12AU7s, a 5U4 rectifier, and a NOS Pair of Bright Blue Tube Art 6L6GCs. Each amplifier has RCA inputs for phono1, phono2, tuner, aux, TV, and tape. It has Level, Loudness, and separate Bass and Treble tone controls. The output transformer has taps for 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm outputs. I had these repaired in 2020 by my Tech friend Tom, and he replaced 17 capacitors, a resistor, the fuse holder, and the line cord on each.Tom’s invoices and the original instruction manual with schematic are included. These sat on my shelf for 4 years. As you may know, neither Tom nor I ever clean Vintage Electronics I sell and usually leave it up to the new buyer, but these just didn’t look anywhere as good as they played. So, I took them to my other Tech Friend Don, and he cleaned them up to look EXCEPTIONAL-like New!On each chassis Don cleaned and polished the chassis, cleaned the knobs, jacks, and controls. He painted the transformers. Don is a perfectionist, so he also retested both amplifiers and replaced a 12AX7, line cord and plug, bottom cover screws, replaced a couple resistors, and actually rebuilt one of the original power switches that had been replaced by a separate toggle switch. You can see one of the amplifiers has a screw in from of the output transformer where the replacement power switch had been! Nobody does this type of work anymore! Don’s invoices are also included. These are as good as you could ever dream of owning!!!From the NET:The EICO Model 20 Is the result of a program aimed at bringing together, in one integrated unit, the finest pre-amplifier control, and power amplifier circuitry in a single chassis. The Model 20 consists of a high-quality preamp-equalizer and control section plus a 20-watt Ultra-Linear Williamson-type power amplifier. RADIOORPHANAGE EBAY INFORMATION: 1) 2024 is my 26th year selling on eBay. I have bought, sold, and collected 25+ to 100+ year old Vintage Electronics for over 50 years. As I trim my collection, I try to sell a variety of interesting, hard to find Radios, Amplifiers, Record Players, Vinyl, Stereo Receivers, Speakers, Telephones, Transistor Radios, Tube Hi Fi and Audio, Television, Amateur Radio and Communication Devices, Vacuum Tubes, Telegraphs, Gaming Equipment, Early Computers and Calculators. 2)Check out all my other JIVE BINs and auctions, and mark me as a Favorite Seller. September to May is my selling season. There is something here for any vintage electronics collector or nostalgia buff. My current feedback is 100.00% with over 7000 feedbacks. I was the President of the New England Antique Radio Club and then the New England Vintage Electronics Club for six years. I stepped down at the end of 2018 to concentrate on finding new owners for the Vintage Electronics my son is not interested in. 3) I value you as a customer, and more importantly, a returning customer. I reward your fast payment with excellent packing, and lightning fast shipping. 4) I have no interest in taking advantage of anyone, and I have no need to. If you understand what you are buying, and how Vintage Electronics work, you will be very happy. If you don't understand how to put an antenna on an old tube radio, or how to connect speakers to a Vintage Amplifier, join a local Antique Radio or Vintage Electronics Club. If you don't know where your closest club is, let me know, and I'll tell you. If you don't know how to hook up or use what you are buying, or know someone who does, please don't buy. ASK QUESTIONS about anything you don't understand. I want you to be happy. 5) Shipping is expensive. You can pick your item up with NO SHIPPING costs at my home 50 miles north of Boston with advanced notice. The eBay concept of "free shipping" is one of the 3 biggest lies. We are the best packers on eBay, and pack YOUR item the way we'd like to receive it-if it was being sent to us. We take extra care in packaging, (Bubble wrap, foam pellets, proper boxes, etc.)(NOT the wadded up newspaper trick) There is a cost for doing this right. Our goal is to get it to you in good shape, and for you to not have to file those fruitless shipping claims. Let's face it, once it's broke, it's broke. We have lost a significant amount of money in packaging costs over the past 25 years, and will continue to do so to get it to you in one piece. 6) YOU & US: Note that the majority of what we sell is antique, vintage, and/or collectable electronics. For liability purposes, Radioorphanage / Bruce Phillips accept NO responsibility for how the buyer uses or misuse of the items. We see you as a valued customer, and want you to be happy. Buy with confidence, as we are in this for the long haul- not for a quick buck. If you are not happy, for any reason, let us know and we'll try to make it right. 7) Questions? Please ask!
