The flange thickness is .125 which protects the barrel more because it sticks out farther than the spec bushing. It is also better support for our angle bore and more aesthetically pleasing with its beveled edge around the flange. Available in Stainless Steel and blued Carbon Steel. Bushing will increase the accuracy of your 1911 by reducing the loose fit of the factory bushing to the slide and barrel. Some fitting may be required for bushing.
