Description: EUC Thanksgiving Pilgrim & Indian (5 panel) Wood Folding Screen (20"L x 12"H). Vintage Wood Folding Screen with images of the first Thanksgiving perfect for Holiday decor on Tabletop, Mantel, Hearth, Entryway table ....etc I purchased this adorable piece on EBAY about 3 years ago and have enjoyed displaying this beautiful Thanksgiving screenon my fireplace mantel and on my China Buffet surrounded with other harvest decor on Thanksgiving Day. However, I am in the process of downsizing and need to let this piece of Americana go to a new home. The panels of this screen are cut from wood 3/8" thick, the back of the screen and the edges are painted brown and the images of the Pilgrims, the Indians and the bountiful Thanksgiving Cornucopia are hand painted in detail on the front in bright festive colors.The images on this folk art piece have the look of Holly Hobbie that might appeal to children learning how Thanksgiving Day was started. Each panel is measured at 4" Wide, approx. 12" Tall and 3/8" thick . The length of the screen laying flat is 20 1/4 " long. Folded down the screen measures 12" × 4" × 2.25. This piece comes from a smoke free home and has been very well care for with foam sheets between the images and wrapped in bubble wrap when stored. Considering this piece is in excellent pre-owned condition, it does show some minor signs of aging. The last four pics show up close there are a few scratches and slight cracking in the hand painted surface. Even though I never noticed these signs of wear before, I did see them after taking a much closer look and updated this listing accordingly.
