A vibrant series, Stipula's Etruria Rainbow is made of transparent Italian resins turned from solid rods. The Stipula Etruria Rainbow fountain pen uses an internal piston filling mechanism. The transparent resins mean this limited edition release is a true demonstrator fountain pen allowing you to see the ink level at any time. Each pen is fitted with a stainless steel fountain pen nib or a 14kt gold STIFLEX fountain pen nib. The Stipula Etruria Rainbow's screw-in nib unit can be removed to clean the pen or to replace the nib with an alternate nib size. To fill the Stipula Etruria Rainbow fountain pen with ink, you use the inbuilt piston system. The Stipula piston system's piston knob does not extend when you use the filling mechanism. The Stipula pistons work differently than the typical piston filling system by another pen brand. When using the Stipula piston filling system, rotating the piston knob clockwise expels ink, while rotating the piston knob counter-clockwise draws ink into the pen.
