Legend.Across ten millennia and a thousand battlefields, Gilad Anni-Padda has traversed the darkest, most mysterious corners of history. But the horror and bloodshed of constant warfare has finally taken its toll on the man myth calls the Eternal Warrior...and he has abdicated his duties as the Fist and the Steel of Earth for a quiet life of seclusion. But when a blood vendetta from the distant past suddenly reappears in the modern day, he must decide if he will return to the ways of war...for the child who betrayed him thousands of years ago...From New York Times best-selling writer Greg Pak (Planet Hulk) and superstar artists Trevor Hairsine (X-Men: Deadly Genesis) and Clayton Crain (Carnage), this volume collects the first four issues of the series that Comic Vine calls "action-packed, well-written, and overfl owing with potential." I am not an official comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition, with a solid spine and very good inside pages (photo#15 example). It does have a moderate crease around the bottom outer corner, but otherwise has few and lesser signs of primarily external wear. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: 3 light indents, 1 shows on the adjacent front cover as a small indent, the other 2 show on the adjacent back cover. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing/indenting around it. **Photo#5:-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Light levels of shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Small indent nearby corner. Light ~1/2" crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~25 pages as an indent, and thru ~1/3 as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: ~1/2" crease web/depression/scuff/bend (photo#10 w/illumination), goes thru ~12 pages as an indent, and ~1/4 as a bend. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Light levels of shelf-scuffing/wear, with additional ~1.5" scuff near its middle. -Outer corner: Small crease nearby corner, shows as an indent on ~25 pages. Small indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner, goes thru ~10 pages as a light bend. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Tiny scuff near the spine corner, otherwise light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Moderate ~1.5" crease web/bend (photo#11 w/illumination), goes thru ~1/4 pages as an indent, and ~1/2 as a bend, both grow lighter as they travel (photos#12, 13 examples of page effects). **Additionally: Front cover possesses a light ~2.5" vertical indent/scratch nearby the top outer corner (photo#14 w/illumination). Small/light scratch/indent near title. Back cover has two light ~1.5" scuffs/streaks nearby the top edge, and 2 small/light scratches/indents around its center. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack any books between pieces of cardboard, with either a bubble or cardboard mailer, or a box for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to try to combine shipping, just message me before purchase! Thanks, and have an amazing day!
