Description: This is an auction for the Bad Boy Rocketry clone kit of the Estes Impulse Pro Series Rocket. Back in the early 90's, before Composite motors were readily available, Estes created some of the first Pro Series kits which used clusters of "D" engines in order to fly these bigger airframes. One of the coolest was the Estes "Impulse", (Kit 2064) which flew on twin "D" motors. This is a reproduction of that kit with some significant upgrades. The Bad Boy Rocketry version has inter-locking plywood fins and is powered by Twin "E" motors for improved performance. This kit includes a Kevlar shock cord and vinyl decals expertly created by CF Fluid Art. In the box you receive two 2.5" diameter body tubes, a coupler, plastic nosecone, laser-cut plywood centering rings and fins, motor tubes, engine hooks, engine blocks, launch lugs and shock cord. Three pages of instructions guide you through assembly and decal application. This is a challenging kit to assemble and is not recommended for beginners. The completed rocket shown was expertly built by Ken Foss using the parts in this kit. Thanks for looking!
