The dust jacket matches the original Morrow first publication jacket. An affordable reprint of a very rare first edition. Dust jacket: Significant loss to top edge on spine, front and back panels; bottom corners of front panel have chunks missing. Rear flap edge has three finger-sized holes. Various small chips and holes scattered around. The reds on the spine and spineward edges of front panel have faded leaving just the white behind.Book: mushroom-coloured cloth discoloured in places. Endpapers are tanned and edges of boards are rubbed, especially on spine. No other defects.
