Some are dry and some wet so give it time to acclimate to your area before finishing. Work it, use it but no finish for at least 3 months. This slab is not totaly dry yet but dead for 20 years and only cut 3 months ago. . Note shipping is not free or $1 as I need zip code for a quote. If shipping is to a business in a commercial area with a forklift or loading dock or if you can pick it up at the local XPO terminal than you would save the $100 extra charge for residential delivery.
