Description: Emtidi - Emtidi CD. Reissue of ultra-rare German folk-psych album from 1970. Emtidi has become known mainly through their LP "Saat" which was released on the Pilz label in 1972. Back in 1970, a very small edition of their first album called simply "Emtidi", had appeared on the small Thorofon label. While there is to be heard some quite traditional folk with acoustic guitar and English lyrics on the LP front side, reminiscent maybe of the early Bob Dylan, the flip side already sounds far more psychedelic, with abundant use of the flute. The male-female duet singing, all in English, is pleasing to the ear. This Garden of Delights edition has been taken from the master tape, and in the booklet, you can find pretty much all one could wish to know about Emtidi. (m-/m-, sealed)
