Description: I have many of these very bright EMERALDS green hostas for sale! The green EMERALDS is a slight variegated effect with a "yellower green" weaving in the leaves. It is not dull or a painted on affect! these leaves are unique, shimmer in the sunlight ! Approximately 1 quart in size plants.These are BETTER than what you can get in the HomeRunDepo type stores. Compared to "Guacamole" these are FAR BETTER- with a bigger leaf and a healthier, brighter green. The slight yellow-green is like a watercolor... moves around in the light. Guacamole is a dull yellow is not nearly as good. Where-ever my variety came from it "pops" at you with a better, deeper, more emerald color than what the stores are selling like these. These are ready for transplanting- with large hostas are bagged and cut into large root segments for shipment. I have decades of experience with this particular variety and dividing these, you will fill out quickly by planting them 2 to 3 feet apart.They have pretty purple flower spikes! The bushy nature of this takes over and covers large pieces of ground with giant leaves about 8" wide and 10" long Stick to: Fairly high shade areas with some sun but not full sun
