Description: Edmund Hodgson Yates [1831 1894] was a British journalist, novelist and dramatist who was an acquaintance of Charles Dickens. In 1854 he published his first book, My Haunts and their Frequenters, after which followed a succession of novels and plays. As a contributor to All the Year Round and Household Words, he gained the high opinion of Charles Dickens. Listed for auction is the autograph of Edmund Hodgson Yates signed on a page. The autograph is signed ''Faithfully yours Edmund Yates'' in black fountain pen. The page measures approximately 3.25 x 2.00 inches, is affixed to a card and is in very good condition.
