Description: Collectors, here is Edison Diamond Disc record #51154, circa 1924. On the "R" side, Esther Nelson and Charles Hart perform the song "Alpine Echoes, with orchestra. On the "L" side, Mr. Hart sings "I'm Lonesome for You, Dear Old Pal", with male chorus and orchestra. Lovely ballads with fine singing, very enjoyable. As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder record. The red star on the label is a warning to Edison jobbers not to overstock the record, it was not expected to be a big seller! The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. There are no edge chips, and the labels are attached firmly to the record. Enjoy this wonderful Diamond Disc, go for it! Shipping to USA addresses only. $4.95 media mail postage and handling, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the record, your positive feedback much appreciated!!
