This aggressive grit is perfect for "raking" in crude platforms fast! The 20 grit is the most widely used and popular abrader for professional/commercial copper knappers nation wide! Dimensions are 4x2x1" Basic Pressure Flaker: All of our pressure flakers are machined from Delrin, the preferred material by flint knappers world wide. This flaker has 2 set screws which enable you to use several different nail sizes ranging from the 10d up to the 20d copper nails. You simply center the two set screws pinching the nail in the middle of the bore. This flaker comes with an Allen Key. All pressure flaker tools are used setting percussion or pressure platforms, edging and notching. They can be used for virtually any type of pressure flaking. The tip is a hardened copper 20d nail. Replacement nails available. Grooved Rubber Hand Pad: This is a popular hand pad featuring a channel down the middle to enhance flake termination and increase flake length. Dimensions are 1/2" x 2" x 4" 1-1/8 Lead Filled Bopper: This is the billet that revolutionized modern knapping by offering the user speed and accuracy in a weight forward system. It's constructed with a hard wood handle carefully coated with rubber for a positive grip on those HOT days. Wood handle is 4" long. They are made with great care to insure quality and consistency. However, these are not designed to hold up to HEAVY work. This is the bopper for you if you aren't ready to shell out the cash for our more expensive solid copper head boppers.
