Description: Here is a lovely, antique, EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) open master salt probably made by the Sandwich & Boston Glass Works.It features a high-relief 'Thumb Print' pattern, and is in a very pale amethyst flint glass. It dates to the middle of the 19th century. It measures 4- 3/8ths inches long, by 3- 1/2 inches wide, and is 1- 5/8ths inches high. This piece is in excellent, used antique, condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage, or repairs. Just some very minor scuffing to the edges consistent with its age and use.
