Irving Stone also added an introduction to the 1947 revision to An Upton Sinclair Anthology, possibly occasioning the meetings resulting in the inscriptions. If there were deeper collaborations between the two prolific writers, we haven't researched the matter thoroughly enough to claim it (though one of the signed Upton Sinclair books we'll offer (not this one) does have a minor correct, possibly by the writer).
