Slightly above average yield. Ben Tirran is self-fertile and will produce a crop if grown alone. Tart berries, good for making currant jelly. This plant seems to have a semi dormant period in the summer-ish time were it will lose its leaves and then grow new ones in the fall. First photos are what the berries and plant will grow into, last photos are a sample of the plants, I send out oldest plants first, yours may be bigger or smaller, but they grow pretty quickly. Plants are grown naturally here in cold WI without chemicals/pesticides. Depending on WI season they will be dormant beginning of season to growing to going dormant at end of season.
