Replacing the traditional, integrated expression pedal for pitch manipulation are separate controls to adjust the rise and fall time by means of stacked, concentric Shift and Return knobs. A Pitch selector knob allows you to set your desired interval of the pitch-shifted note, and a Range switch dictates whether you’ll be shifting your signal upwards or downwards in pitch. In either case, the LED Trajectory ladder will give you a visual readout for how the pedal is manipulating your pitch. Seven intervallic selections are available, including 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, Octave, Double Octave, and Octave+Dry for a unison stacked pitch sound, which, when combined with distortion, can often sound quite commanding and impactful in rhythm parts. Quite an interesting feature of this pedal is the Momentary toggle switch, which allows you to utilize the bypass footswitch in a variety of ways. It even changes the bypass footswitch from buffered to true bypass, depending on the mode you’re using.
