Description: This is a used laptop in good cosmetic condition with signs of normal use (scrapes, scratches, etc). There are some light surface scratches and a sticker shadow on the top. The laptop was working 100% perfectly until the BIOS was updated to the most recent version available. Ever since then, there is an error message on boot regarding the TPM module not being found (see last photo). This seems to be a very common issue (Google has lots of information on this subject). I have attempted a few of the fixes, but with no luck so far. All you have to do is press F1 to reboot and everything seems to be just fine afterwards as far as I can tell.All Dell hardware diagnostics have passed (with battery warning). Everything has been thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be fully functional (unless otherwise specified in this listing). System BIOS lists the battery condition as "Fair". BatteryInfoView software reports a maximum remaining charge capacity of 22891 mWh out of the originally-designed 59994 mWh (38% health remaining). However, no testing has been performed to assess actual useful battery life or discharge rate. Batteries are not guaranteed. A Dell charger is included.
