The play had opened on March 26 1964 so this is from the first year the play had opened. The play starred Barbara Streisand as Fanny Brice and Sydney Chaplin as Nick Arnstein. The play also featured Jean Stapleton and Lainie Kazan and it is noted in the playbill that Lanie Kazan was the understudy for Miss Streisand while George Reeder was the understudy for Mr Chaplin.
