The best way to get the best shipping value is by winning this auction along with one or more of my other comics auctions, because I can fit up to 16 comics (with cardboard surrounding them) inside this $8.99 Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope. Even better: I can get up to 60 (that's right, SIXTY) comics in a Priority Mail Flat Rate Medium Size Box for $18.00! So go nuts! ——Description of This Auction—— Having all of my comics professionally graded by CGC would cost a fortune and take forever, so I only have gotten my most valuable books graded. I have been collecting comics for more than 40 years -- buying most of them when they were brand new, reading them once and putting them in bags. My grading scale includes Near Mint (looks like it was just bought, any flaws are extremely minor), Very Fine (almost Near Mint, right on the edge, but just misses), Fine (not Near Mint but still nearly so), (Very Good (shows evidence of handling and has notable flaws but none are disastrously awful), Good (more flawed, still a solid book for reading but that's about it), Fair (big problems) and Poor (horrible condition, trash it after reading it). Here is what you will get in this auction: Photos in my auctions always are of the actual item or items that you will get, because I never use stock photos. Here are a bunch of comics (and a hardback book) that I've thrown together into one auction. The reason the main photo above looks weird is because these books started out as four separate auctions, and the first pic above is a composite of the original four main photos. The first thing you will get is the final issue of the 1991 Marvel Comics series DEATHLOK. It is issue 34, cover date April 1994, in VERY FINE condition -- it looks like it was printed this morning! Next up, you get four issues from the 2002 six-issue Marvel Comics miniseries KILLRAVEN by Alan Davis and Mark Farmer. All are in VERY FINE condition. Details: KILLRAVEN issue 1 (first issue of series), December 2002 KILLRAVEN issue 2, January 2003 KILLRAVEN issue 3, February 2003 KILLRAVEN issue 5, April 2003 Next, you get the 2007 Top Cow hardback graphic novel called UNIQUE written by Dean Motter of Mister X fame with art by Dennis Calero. This is a First Printing copy, original list price $14.99. It is in Like New condition, only some very minor "shelfwear" rubbing on cover that no other seller on eBay probably would bother mentioning. Reprints all three issues (1 2 and 3) of the comic by the same name. Finally, you will get THE SUPER COPS, issue 1, July 1974, published by Red Circle Comics Group, in Very Good condition. Some minor stress marks at spine, small bump at bottom right corner (with some small color-breaking hairline diagonal creases there), some minor scuffing on back and a tiny amount of edgewear at bottom. I'm making this sound worse than you probably will think it looks -- most sellers probably would go ahead and call it "Fine" condition -- but I'm picky. This would be a great gag gift for a cop you know. What a weird comic, complete with a black pimp and a black hooker on the cover. Even weirder, small versions of the two "Super Cops" on the cover are wearing T-shirts with red Batman-logo-shaped bats on the front, even though this wasn't a DC comic! Gray Morrow did the cover and the art on the book's first story. This book apparently was released to tie in with a movie, because there's a full-page ad advertising the flick. I'll bet it was a real classic. I'm pretty sure this was the one and only issue of this title, which probably was for the best. You'll love them! GREAT COMICS, FROM A SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE HOME! ----------------Shipping Info---------------- Comics will be bagged together, not individually bagged and boarded. Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope shipping with cardboard surrounding the books to any US address will be $8.99, which includes tracking and insurance. (Unfortunately, comics cannot legally be shipped by the post office's cheaper Media Mail rate.) International shipping will be more, and only through eBay's Global Shipping Program. Note that I can fit up to 16 comics into the Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope (with cardboard surrounding the books), so feel free to fill it up! Or if you really want to go on a buying spree, I can fit up to 60 comics in a Flat Rate Medium Box for $18.00 to any US address. Go nuts!
