I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition, with a solid spine, great to excellent overall inside pages (photo#12 example), and minor levels of shelf-scuffing/scratching. It does have some indents around the cover's top outer corners, but otherwise some lighter, and altogether mostly external, signs of wear. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Some scuffing, small ding where it meets front cover that causes a small indent around the corner on the front, and a ~1/2" ding where it meets the back cover. Small retailer's remainder mark on the pages' external top edge nearby the corner.-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing, small ding where it meets back cover that causes a ~3/4" indent near the corner and a ~1" indent/scuff adjacent the corner on the back cover (photo#9 w/illumination), as well as a small tear at the corner itself. **Photo#5: -Front cover top edge: Light if any shelf-wear. Tiny black ink stain adjacent the edge towards the spine corner. -Outer corner: ~1/2" vertical scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages as a light indent and ~1/5 as a light bend. **Photo#6:-Front cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing along it.-Outer corner: ~1/2" vertical indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~20 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/5 as a light bend. **Photo#7: -Back cover top edge: Tiny ding near spine corner that shows lightly on ~6 pages, otherwise light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Light ~3" indent/depression around corner, goes thru ~20 pages as a light depression. ~3/4" crease/scuff/bend around extreme corner - goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light indent, and ~4/5 as a light bend. **Photo#8:-Back cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~2/3 pages as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses a light ~4" indent/depression starting at its page edge going around the top outer corner (photo#10 w/illumination - shows on ~5 pages as a very light depression. Page edge has a ~1" scuff near its middle that shows lightly on ~5 pages. ~1/2" indent near the spine edge's middle, a few light ~1/2" scratches/indents around the cover's center, and a light ~1.5" scratch near the bottom edge. Back cover's page edge has 2 tiny adjacent cover indents near its middle, with a nearby ~1/2" indent/depression. Light ~2" scratch near spine edge, with a patch of very light but larger vertical scratches around the cover's center. Book has a light vertical bend/curl near the page edge (photo#11). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
