Description: DAVID BYRON "TAKE NO PRISONERS' VINTAGE AND RARE 8 TRACK EX URIAH HEEP SINGER 8 TRACK LOOKS NICE LABEL LOOKS NICE SLIGHTLY WRINKLED UNTESTED BUT COMES FROM A BATCH THAT ALL PLAY David Byron's first solo album, "Take No Prisoners", is unavoidably related to Uriah Heep's "Return to Fantasy", and to a lesser extent "High and Mighty", from 1975 and 1976 respectively, songwriting, sound, melodies, and harmonies recall mid-70s Heep, which comes as no surprise. The personnel helping David includes Heep mates Mick Box and drummer Lee Kerslake, besides one Denny Ball on bass (ex-Cozy Powell's Bedlam), and one Lou Stonebridge on keyboards.Ken Hensley and John Wetton also appear in a couple of songs, making "Take No Prisoners" a sort of lost Uriah Heep album.Highlights include "Man Full of Yesterdays", "Midnight Flyer", "Sweet Rock n' Roll", "Silver White Man", and "Stop (Think What You're Doing)"... some of these songs have a nostalgic, retro flavor to them, and some have Mick Box's trademark signature guitar, which should please most Heep fans."Steamin' Along" is a bit silly, yet catchy, and the short ballad "Love Song" features David Byron singing to his bottle of wine with tender emotion.
