This version of the grips is checkered within a sharply defined border, with the portion outside the border left smooth. The outline of a pistol is laser-engraved in the grips near the bottom-front of the grip on both the left- and right-side grip areas. These grips are installed in halves, with the screws already used on the gun. These grips are simply outstanding when fitted to a gun, and there aren't any photos we can take that really do these grips justice; these are simply beautiful. The grips aren't varnished, but finished with a fine oil to enhance the beauty of the wood and preserve it as well. Whatever your gun's finish is like, these will add that special touch, as no two sets of grips have exactly the same grain. These pictures are of the grips you will receive. This set of grips has some crushed checkering on the right-side panel and a darker area in the smooth section of the left-side panel. SEE PHOTOS FOR DETAILS. These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel. They complement blued or stainless guns equally well.
