The pie bird was designed by the editors, Lillian Cole and Connie Soost, and was made by Joan Prince of New Jersey. This porcelain pie bird measures 2 ½” tall and is marked on his tummy “Piebirds Unlimited 90.” He is holding a plate of chocolate chip cookies and he also has one in his mouth. Such a cute little fella!! It was only offered to the newsletter members; I don’t know how many were made and don’t think it was a whole lot. No chips, cracks, or crazing. VERY COLLECTIBLE!!
