These have very tight tolerances to eliminate trigger housing movement each end of pin has a chamfer for ease of installation also lubrication may be helpful. -Both Pins are the same in length-**Pins are a specific length, precision ground for the Remington 700 style actions(w/SBR) and trigger housing - Pins are a specific diameter, precision ground for the Remington 700 style actions and trigger housing -Made from 18-8/304 Stainless Steel -Rockwell Hardness B85 -Shear Strength 40,000 PSI New trigger pins are a must with a trigger upgrade,or a new rifle build.
