No a surprise it has been there since 1953 when Elizabeth II became Queen. The hat is near perfect. You need too look closely at the photos as they will convey the condition and the look of the hat better than I can. It as far as I can tell a size 7. The hat is a much darker shade of blue than the photos show.Flash has lightened it up considerably.If you like planes or just the RAF. This one is for you.
