Description: This lot consists of six documents from a railroad company called the Cumberland Gap Despatch. Five of these documents has the name Andrew Broaddus on it. Andrew Broaddus (1841-1929) had a long career in railroads. His office was located in Louisville, Kentucky. His grandson, also named Andrew Broaddus, served as mayor of Louisville from 1953 to 1957. The documents are dated 1896 through 1901. They are about 8" by 5", and are in good condition, with small holes near the top left corner, and some general wear.
