Part # C2109 Reviews Good quality, pricey, and not perfect. Rated by johncudgel on March 31, 2021 Summary: When you install these, you will notice that the U-bolts do not rest against the sides of the leaf springs. Unlike the OEM plates, these U-bolt holes are too far apart (left to right). Again, this means that the U-bolts do not sandwich the leafs and cant help keep the leafs in place nor ensure that the snubber stays centered under the spring eye. Its all left to the U-bolts to do that. Why was this done? Perhaps to fit cars with wider leaf springs? Dont know. My solution? I welded a 2 lengths of angle-iron on each plate to cradle or sandwich the leaf springs. I had to measure several times to make sure that the snubber was in its proper place under the spring eye before striking the arc. Still, I am satisfied. I believe that these are the best slapper-type traction bars on the market. Pricey, but I chose to buy them. I didnt expect the issue above, though! Good luck. Yes, I recommend this product.
