Description: This listing is for cooling mod kit for Commodore Amiga 1200 equipped with PiStorm32-Light and Pi3A+, Pi3B+, Pi4B. The trapdoor is designed for an included 12v thin 7mm Fan. I have experimented with many different kind of cooling solutions but this is the most easy to implement and it has a good cooling impact on the Raspberry and PiStorm32-Light combo.There are no grills on the trapdoor so the hot air from the pistorm/Rpi combo will not be recycled and the fan will always provide cold air from below and the hot air will come out from the top grills, that is why a block is provided for the pi3A+ that does not need the hole for extruding ports. The fan is connected to A1200 floppy power port and the cable is included for both fan and floppy drive or gotek. The fan is connected to 5v and 12v for a total of 7v working voltage, that way its just whispering as a quite hard drive inside your amiga and it creates adequate breeze with a difference of about 10 degree Celsius on a 100% load on the Rpi 3A+ as you see on the photos, I believe the delta difference will be even bigger on a 100% load on an Rpi 4B. That is enough cooling for a mild overclock. For the fan to have adequate air moving, the Amiga must be raised few millimetres by installing the silicone feet on top of the Amigas rubber feet, or if the original feet is destroyed (most of them are nowdays) take out the original rubber feet and install the included spacers and silicone feet. The KIT contain: - 3D printed trapdoor with 7mm fan + cable- a block for the open window that is needed if you are using a 3A+ or Zero2, for 3B+ and 4B you must leave it open.- 4 silicone feet and 4 spacers. The colour of the printed trapdoor is light grey, and is a perfect match to the colour of a new A1200 case. For any other colour please contact me for availability.
