Description: Cole Parmer 98768-43 Replacement ProbeYou are buying a Cole Parmer 89768-43 Replacement Probe for the 4048 or 94460-70 Digital Thermometer. It is also the Control Company 8881 Replacement Probe. This is a 50 kOhm NTC (negative temperature coefficient) thermistor. Shown reading a lower resistance at a higher temperature. Opened the package and found out that it is the wrong probe for out thermometers. There is a warning on the card stating that if your thermometer reads -13 C (9 F) at ambient 25 C (77 F) that you need a different replacement probe. I am not accepting returns on this item.If you do not know if this is the correct replacement probe for you do not order, I will not accept returns for the above issue.
