Cleaning has not attempted to inside or outside of the purse, and that is recommended- I know there are instructions on the internet for maintaining the leather properly, not sure about the interior lining. . Magnet on the snap closure works well. The strap handle has a buckle on both sides of the purse and is in good condition. There is an inside zipper compartment .It's a nice purse, I'm sure it has a lot of life left in it
