Description: PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BUY. Ask Questions before you buy. We respond to eBay msgs quickly.Your failure to read this description does not constitute a Return if Purchased. This unit is sold AS-IS, NO RETURNS, AS-DESCRIBED for PARTS or Repair and needs Restoration in order to work to Factory Specifications. Unit is Partially working as it picks up Fm Stations with audio output, Appears all Original, The Tuning meter and dial lamps light up but the Tuning meter needle seam stuck at 7 and sometimes at 9 (meters range 0-9)...research indicates this is a resistor(s) out of tolerance behind the meter and would need replacing. The RF/IF, FM Multiplex will need alignment as this unit has been stored for 50+years. The main tuning dial plastic and tuning knob have no cracks and can be adjusted to a specific radio stations Fm frequency by holding the outside of the tuning knob and then adjust the inner dial to line up with the stations Fm frequency number to the 'megacycle' line indicator. 1962 H H ScottLT-110 (with 10 tubes included)Tube TYPE - 'STEREOMASTER' Wideband FM Multiplex MPX StereoBrandywine colorTESTED with simple Dipole short antenna and pickedup several local Fm stations, All parts appear Original, all 10 tubes are vintage USA/EU w/ 5 original HH Scott tubes(Tung-Sol 6X4,3x GE 6AU6, SYL 6BS8) + 5 NOS Vintage USA 60's GE/Sylvania/Amperex Tubes installed which All tubes tested very good to factory new levels on a TV7D/U. Good Cosmetic physical condition. Original 1 Owner Estate Purchase. Please see all 24 pics posted. Unit Has been stored in a Box in an Climate Controlled Closet for about 50years. It has not been powered up in years. We cleaned this unit up cosmetically and tested all the tubes and replaced 5 of 10 tubes that were still good but lower so we install 5 nos vintage 60's GE/Sylvania/Amperex tubes that are very much stronger and working nicely, (READ FULL TEST DESCRIPTION BELOW) Very Good Cosmetic physical condition and very clean. This unit would be a very good candidate going for a full restoration as the components are in fact 62 years old (Caps/Resistors/Electrolytic Cans ect). That said these old internal components can drift, crack and fail at any time. THIS UNIT WILL NEED RF/IF and Multiplex ALIGNMENT as well as replacing the resistors behind the Tunning Meter Please see the photos. We removed the bottom cover to show you the inside of the chassis. This unit appears to be all original with caps, resistors and cans that are 62 years old. Sellers Notes/Providence/Minor 1st steps of Testing: This was a recent Estate Purchase along with the 1961-62 matching HH Scott LK-72 Stereo Integrated Amplifier ( just listed on eBay). I bought these 2 units because I needed the tubes from the LK-72 amp for my fully restored Fisher 500C (family airloom).I started a minor restoration on this unit just cleaning it up. We Deoxited all the front-end controls which are all functional (working as designed) installed a new 1/2 Amp fuse and cleaned all the tube sockets with CRC-QD electrical contact cleaner, Removed the bottom panel checked all the solder connections which were all good (no burn marks or open solder points) and sprayed all the solder joints with CRC-QD. We then installed 5 of 10 NOS testing vintage USA/Holland tubes as 5 of 10 original tubes we tested were good but not NOS strong. We brought the unit up slowly on a Variac to warm up slowly the internals. We connected this LT-110 to our demo receiver connected a short 300 Ohm dipole antenna and picked up several local FM stations throughout the dials frequencies. That is the extent of our testing show in one of the pics..The 5 USA Vintage NOS tubes we replaced are GE/Sylvania/Amperex : 1 x GE 6U8A, 1 x GE JAN 12AT7WC/6201, 2 x Sylvania 12AU7A/6680, 1 x Amperex 6BL8/ECF80 w/orginal boxes AS with ALL Vintage Electronics that are original and this old this unit will need some work to restore to original factory design . The Fm frequency calibration can and does go off frequency after time and will need to be calibrated going forward. That said there is no implied warrantee nor guarantee for this unit other than you will receive what is described and the unit will initially work as we tested it in 'working condition'.ALL 10 tubes and the 3 tube shields will be packed very well in a smaller box inside the larger well packaged box. Please be careful to install the correct tubes into the correct sockets. All sockets are marked by silk screening as to the tube type for the socket. Specs and Details of the H.H.
